Barnes/Woldemichael EthioJazz Quartet

Judaism in Ethiopia dates back to Biblical times. Autonomous Jewish regions in the area are believed to have existed before the Christian Era. The Barnes/Woldemichael EthioJazz Quartet explores this intersection of culture with classic EthioJazz from the 1970’s and new original compositions. This collaboration enchants its audience with the distinctive sound and vibe of Ethiopia—the perfect way to unwind from the week!
